The first incident wasn’t as bad since the mother quickly reacted and had the kid apologize and it was clearly the actions of a younger brother who has to snatch and yell just to be heard. The second incident involved a little girl who just pushed Liam off the “fire truck” at the park. That was the one that made me mad since the mother’s reaction was to flippantly say something like “be careful with babies” while my child was lying on his back in the dirt. This just underscores what I already knew to be true: most of the time kids aren’t the problem, parents are.

I kept trying to come up with some sort of funny/witty reference to violenace until I realized that none of them were good enough because I actually was angry.
