Singin’ (& Dancin’) In The Rain

On Sunday afternoon we had a pop-up shower that lasted for all of 20 minutes (and didn’t even wet the concrete underneath the cars or come close to washing away the dirt on the driveway).  Liam and Matt had come outside to eat popsicles on the front porch and I came to join them after I was swarmed by a pack of yellow jackets who had apparently been making their home underneath the bush we’re removing.  But that’s another story for another day…

When the rain started Liam felt compelled to run around in it and I felt compelled to take as many shots of our elusive boy as possible.  Here’s what I got.

It was only for half an hour, but it was so nice to have some time to spend as just the three of us.  With Paige around sometimes it’s easy to forget that Liam’s still a little boy.  He just seems so big by comparison.  Seeing pictures like these helps me to remember.
